home from europa! big updates!

hey friends!
wow what an experience!
i am home after visiting and performing as nickyclick in sweeden for europride, the Copenhagen queer fest, queer 9000 fest in denmark, oslo queer fest, berlin and hamburg, uk stops in london, brighton, leeds and manchester! i traveled with my best pals and stars, the screamclub.

we giggled across europe like any true boneheads would. often we would be stuck in the quiet section of the train and would start laughing even louder cos we couldn't!
it was inspiring to be in europe and see how differently they treat and respect the arts and artists in general, and how it is actually FUNDED by the government, actually considered something ENRICHING to the public. (unlike the USA) this gave me hope and i felt appreciated and inspired.
the queer fests we went to lasted about a week each and were basically government supported squats, if i got it right, and were these huge fascinating compounds full of punk, feminist and queer graffiti, posters and stickers. it was really cool to see what bands had played there in the past. most fests were funded by donation, and consisted of basic sleeping rooms, 3 delish veg meals a day, workshops during the day and music shows at nite.
i met and got to play with alot of amazing bands like: noisy pig, nuclear family, nad mika, rhythm king and her friends, erase erata, hug party, vile vile creatures, melissa (xoxoxoxoxo) from chicks on speed, oliver and his amazing band spleen and the flesh machine, hug party, the combustion dj crew, the amazing sexy queer performance art trio; the hungry hearts, heidi mortenson, chez debs, eric d.clark.....and i almost met lady miss kier for the second time!
another interesting note is that me and the screamies created THE CRUNKS NOT DEAD AEROBICS CREW! the idea was to create a framework to exercise in a way that was inclusive of all body types, abilities, genders and so on. and.......mainly to workout not with the intention to loose weight, but to fucking move yer body and feel good! we of course made a big playlist filled with all the music from the crunks not dead family, and we sort of just improvised, let loose, taught each other dance moves, danced on our own........whatever! it was almost like a new age sage like tantric spiritual lavender experience.........ha ha ....it was rad. we led the workshop in olso and aalborg. so, be on the lookout for crunks not dead aerobics tapes, cds, water bottles, sweatbands and other apparel!


the flirtas, my new bodyguards/back up dancers traveled with me to europe as well, which turned out to be very helpful as the paparazzi was everwhere i went. as well their dance moves and obedience was immeasurably pleasurable. my wish was their command and where i went they followed, always remaining anonymous, lending the spotlight graciously to me.

so my future plans are to continue to work on my third album release, entitled
"Mediforically of course!" (tm pebbles) co-produced by the incomparable Mr. owl in New hampshire, where i live now. also i will be playing some shows and festivals, mostly locally, and preparing for fall and winter.


also an insider snippet, there is a rumor i heard that nickyclick and screamclub may be releasing a new seven inch collaboration record, as a follow up to their record released three years back. get prepared in 2009 for four more songs about heartbreak, love, travels, true life diary entries, and much more.



i have an exciting upcoming show at the second annual phase 1 festival, at the oldest lesbain bar in the nation, (woa!) the phase 1, in washington dc. the festival is three days long and includes workshops and an impressive lineup up of current queer all star performers. i perform saturday sept. 12th at 10:30 pm and will rock yer queer little socks of with my fancy femme attire and dance moves! i have some new projection videos and as well will be performing my new single, "i can love again," featuring mr.owl
